Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I impart my advice on how to be bold and be original. Hope you are encouraged!

Favorite Brunch Spots

Favorite Brunch Spots

This summer I had the pressure of eating at a few brunch spots in Maryland and I have compiled a list of my favorite so far.

Eggspectations

Oh my goodness the food here was so good. I ordered the Eggstravaganza which was standard 2 eggs over medium with potatoes and bacon crumbs and French toast; it was delicious. I ate here on another occasion and I ordered the spicy jambalaya pasta and asked for it to be extra spicy. It's called the J'Egg'Blaya and It hit the spot! This is probably a brunch restaurant that I will stop by over and over again. Their prices are quite reasonable but it is always busy so make sure you get there in time or make reservations.

Bond Street social

The food was good but, I waited a very long time for it so that tainted the experience. I had steak and egg with little veggies on it and it was amazing. They serve their food in a way that makes it easy to share, so if you’re going with a group it may be a good idea to order different things and share with the whole table. It is located in Baltimore right next to the water so it’s a great spot for pictures and has great vibes. Oh, and they have delicious fries and dipping sauces.

Victoria Castro Pub

The food here was very good, and the prices were reasonable. I had eggs over medium with French toast. The location is nice, and they were accommodating to the big group. I guess this place did not stand out to me as much but I remeber that I was satisfied with my meal.

1230 Restaurant and lounge

This place is quite new and when I visited, they served the food buffet style. I went to this lounge spot for a day party and I was surprised at how good the food was. They had a brunch buffet for the event and I filled my plate with waffles, shrimp and potatoes, a delicious combo. This would be a good place to host a birthday party or event.

The Walrus

The walrus oysters and ale house just opened a new location in Columbia MD. The first thing I noticed when our food came out was how big the portions were. The food was pretty good and the service was quick. It also has a cute outside sitting area.

Hope you check some of these places out and if you do, hit me up and let me know what you think.
